July 25, 2013 Updated Jul 25, 2013 at 11:02 AM CDT

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Health Department has issued a no water contact advisory for three beaches in Park Point.

The following beaches tested for elevated E. coli levels:
- 20th Street / Hearding Island Canal Beach located on the harbor-side of Park Point, at 20th Street.
- Sky Harbor Parking Lot Beach located on the harbor-side of Park Point in Duluth, at the end of Minnesota Avenue.
- Minnesota Point Harborside / 15th Street Beach located on the harbor-side of Park Point in Duluth at 15th Street.

The beaches listed above are scheduled to be resampled sometime Thursday.

The elevated E. coli levels could be due to the presence of fecal contamination.

If you become ill after contact with water at this beach, you are asked to contact the Minnesota Department of Health.
