Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Rogers and Governor Dayton are scheduled to meet on July 22nd at one in the afternoon to discuss the revocation of his bear research license by the DNR.

As of now, Dr. Rogers is expected to de–collar every research bear by the end of the month, which both Rogers and City of Ely officials have deemed an economic blow for the area, in terms of tourism attraction.

Close to $20,000 have been raised for Rogers's legal fund through international donations, and almost 6,500 people have signed a petition asking Governor Dayton to intervene.
