Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Grand Rapids Police Department said Thursday a body discovered in the Mississippi River may be that of a missing 36-year-old man.
Police Chief Jim Denny said in a news release the body was located in the River Northwest of the city around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Jacob Charles Marion was reported missing Tuesday night.
Authorities said that they were concerned for his welfare because he did not have his wallet or medicine with him.
The cause of death is undetermined.
