Businesses and residents are urged to report flood damage.
The Downtown Waterfront District suffered minor physical damage, yet, there are individual businesses that saw losses due to interruption in business or forms of damage.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has set up an electronic survey available a www.MinnesotaRecovers.org under the heading “Northeast Minnesota Flooding Recovery.”
Organizations are encouraged to take a moment to fill out this form in an effort to help the state in determining what services and assistance will be needed in our community.
July 2nd is the deadline.
Residents are encouraged to call 2-1-1 to contact the United Way of Duluth to report flood damage.
Call 1-800-543-7709 if calling from a cell phone or go to www.unitedwayduluth.org and complete the survey.
