Leader, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A Cass County man was convicted of a felony in court Monday on charges related to an extensive marijuana growing operation.
George Morcomb, 57–years–old, was arrested at a Cass County house in late May and pleaded guilty to charges of marijuana possession.
He was also initially charged with possession of a pistol, but that charge was dropped.
Authorities found more than 100 marijuana plants in and around the detached garage of Morcomb’s home in the Wilderness Park Area.
They also found grow lights, fertilizers and other items that support marijuana growth, along with the firearm and some methamphetamine.
Morcomb had been held on $100,000 bail since June.
