Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)
-- A non-profit organization is helping address the need for school supplies in Duluth.

Companies to Classrooms is testing the waters to distribute free supplies to any teacher in Duluth.

The West Duluth location is offering a wide spectrum of goods, donated from businesses with an overage of materials

Starting next week, educators can shop once a month, picking out 15 different supply items.

Organizers want this idea of catch on, for future expansion to Northland teachers.

"We hope to expand to Superior, to Proctor, to Hermantown when we get a flow of merchandise."

Donations are encouraged to expedite the expansion process.

Anybody who has a surplus of office supplies can drop them off at 2307 West Superior Street.

The donation center will be open Tuesday-Thursdays, starting December 4th.
