Congressmen Says Thank You to Supporters

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Newly elected Minnesota 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan spent the night in Duluth celebrating his November win with supporters.

The Congressman talked briefly talked about how congress is not putting in the right amount of time that is necessary to run the country and hopes to change that.

He says he wants to introduce a package that reverses Citizens United and change the way we do politics.

The Congressmen says he is excited to start work with congress and is grateful for all of his supporters.

"It's a joyful sense of obligation to want to be all you can be and merit the trust and the confidence that they have placed in you. So it's a wonderfully good feeling and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve and I'm determined to do all I can to be the best I can be," said Congressmen Nolan.

Over one hundred people attended the event at Carmody Irish Pub in downtown Duluth.
