Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Veteran Courts reporter with the Duluth News Tribune is handing in his pen and notepad, and retiring.

For 30 years Mark Stodghill spent most days inside the court room or at police stations for his reporting.

Honors for his work have come in from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Scripps Howard Awards and Investigative Reporters and Editors.

Stodghill is also an avid run who has laced up for a number of marathons over the years.

He says he'll continue to run as many marathons as his body allows and says he looks forward to minding his own business.
