Carlton, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Officials in Carlton County are asking residents not to repair damage from the flooding yet unless absolutely necessary so the County Assessor can tally up damage costs.
The County Assessor will be in Carlton County on Monday, June 25th to begin inspections.
These assessments are important for property tax relief and possible federal aid from FEMA.
If you have started repairs, please keep records and take pictures.
If you or someone you know has sustained flood damage, please contact the Carlton County Assessor.
