Wisconsin (Northland's NewsCenter) --- There is a delay in delisting the gray wolf from the endangered species list after the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service reopened the rule for public comment.
The department extended the comment period to Sept. 26th.
The rule would remove gray wolves in the Western Great Lakes area from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife.
