Duluth East Lands on "America's Best High Schools" List

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth East High School has landed on a list of "America's Best High Schools for 2013".

The list was compiled by Newsweek and the Daily Beast and highlights 2,000 public high schools in the nation that have proven to be most effective in preparing students for college.

Duluth East is one of 46 Minnesota schools included in the list. The school ranked 21st out of the 46 schools in the state, and 1,089 overall on the list.

The list was based on several things including graduation rate, college acceptance rate, advanced placement tests, and average SAT/ACT scores.
