Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Duluth man was arrested after a car crash sent him and one other person to the hospital.
According to the Duluth Police Department, officers were called to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 6:14 a.m. Saturday on Mesaba Avenue at Third Avenue West.
Police say that the initial investigation revealed that a 1996 Honda Civic driven southbound in the 300 block of Mesaba Avenue lost control, traveling over the center median and across northbound
lanes of Mesaba Avenue before crashing into a guardrail.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Duluth, and a 25-year-old male passenger of the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s hospital.
After being released from the hospital, the 22-year-old driver was taken to the St. Louis County Jail for Felony Criminal Vehicular Operation, Gross Misdemeanor DWI, Reckless Driving and No Proof of Insurance.
