Duluth Man Charged with Heroin and Crack Cocaine Posession Again.
Northlands NewsCenter- (Duluth, MN) Duluth Police arrested a frequent offender on Heroin and Cocaine charges Tuesday,on the 500 Block of West Superior Street.
46 year old Andrew Wayne Clarke was once again
arrested by investigators from the Lake Superior Drug
and Violent Crime Task Force (LSDVCTF) with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATFE).
Investigators say they were tipped off that Clarke was in possession
of Heroin and executed a search warrant, leading to the discovery of 5.7 grams of crack cocaine.
Investigators also located 1.5 grams of heroin in the search
Clarke has been formally charged with 2nd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, 3rd Degree
Possession of Cocaine/Heroin/Methamphetamine, and Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Misdemeanor Obstructing Legal Process.
Clarks previous arrests on drug charges include 2 counts of 2nd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance last September.
Clarke also has the following felony convictions:
Uttering a Forged Check – 1984
Burglary in the Second Degree – 1985
Offering a Forged Check – 1985
Controlled Substance Crime in the First Degree (2 separate convictions) – 1994
Fourth Degree Assault – 2006
Fifth Degree Possession of Controlled Substance – 2007
Identity Theft – 2008
Fifth Degree Possession of Controlled Substance – 2008
Theft from a Person – 2010
