Cook County, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are searching for an elderly man who went missing along the Gunflint Trail in Grand Marais on Thursday.
82 year old Paul Brandt, of Grand Marais, was out berry picking Thursday afternoon when he went missing. Authorities say his car was found south of the Seagull Guard Station.
Brandt is described as 6'1", 190 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes and wears glasses. He is in good health and described as pretty fit.
The Sheriff's office said that Brandt lives on the Gunflint Trail, and this is unusual for him not to return home.
Friends and relatives have been searching for Brandt since Thursday evening. The State Patrol and search dogs with the Central Lakes Search and Rescue are also assisting Cook County.
