St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A 67-year-old inmate who walked away from the federal prison camp in Duluth pleaded guilty today on one count of escape from custody.
Gerald James Greenfield escaped from the camp last March along with another man.
In is plea agreement Greenfield admitted he left the camp without authorization.
He was arrested six days later in a Burnsville Minnesota Motel.
At the time of his escape he was serving 50 months for conspiracy to commit money laundering.
He now faces up to five more years in prison.
64-year-old Michael Krzyzaniak pleaded guilty to the same crime in June.
