Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - If you're heading out on the St. Louis River – heads up.

County officials are warning that last year's historic flooding dramatically changed the layout of the river.

Commissioner Chris Dahlberg says that the Coast Guard has buoys up in some areas to mark where depths have changed, but more work needs to be done.

Dahlberg and other business leaders say if they're not fixed, the navigational issues could be a problem for tourists.

Dahlberg says the Coast Guard is doing additional surveying of the area and putting more buoys up.
