Two Harbors, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Gooseberry Falls along the North Shore draws thousands each summer to its rushing water falls and scenic beauty.
But what some might not know is the unique charm of the falls during the colder months of the year.
Gooseberry Falls freezes over, creating elaborate strings of icicles all across the park. Many of the trails turn into ski, snow mobile and snow shoe trails that offer tourists unique paths that can sometimes change over night.
Check out these pictures from from the falls just after a fresh coat of snow had fallen the night before.
