Chisholm, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Fresh snow and frozen water pipes created a hassle for people living in Chisholm.

As of Tuesday, Mayor Mike Jugovich said there were over a dozen reported frozen water lines due to the bitter cold winter, and he expects more to come.

Jesse Stanton, who lives in Chisholm, hasn't had running water since last Friday.

He says the frozen pipes have caused him a number of headaches.

"It's really hard to do dishes. I shower at work... I only work about five minutes away, and no bathrooms, so you just kind of make due," said Stanton.

Unlike other cities across the Northland Hibbing officials aren't recommending any action to prevent frozen water lines.
