The crews of Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw, homeported in Cheboygan, Mich., and Canadian Coast Guard Ship Pierre Radisson, homeported in Quebec City, conduct an escort on Lake Superior near Whitefish Point April 3, 2014. Crews worked together, as part of an ongoing bi-national agreement between the U.S. and Canada, to break sheet ice that was nearly 40 inches thick.
