Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - We've gotten e-mail from viewers all across the city of Duluth complaining about pot holes, some worse than others.

We think one of the worst spots is along North 40th Avenue West and West 7th Street and neighbors we spoke to tend to agree.

"It's pretty horrible you gotta drive two or three miles per hour to get through there," said Doug Atkinson, who lives near the potholes.

"I know they're there, so I go slow, so I don't make any damage," said another neighbor, Jennifer Northcutt.

The tire traps by Merritt Park aren't fresh either.

"Just since 40th has been closed off from the flood, Northcutt said. "It's gotten worse over here."

Then there's Tony Miller. "It's devastating," he said.

He's dealt with the potholes for a decade.

"Your whole body kind of dips," Miller said. "Even in your car you, whole body dips."

Miller says he can't get his driveway fixed because of the potholes, and even worse. he says it's just an accident waiting to happen.

"Somebody could get hurt. Doing 40 mph on this thing, hit the turn, tree boom."

Miller says the temporary fixes by the city aren't enough.

"Don't repair the same thing over and over again. 10, 20, 30 times it's very costly when you do that."
