Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) – Several Northland ski hills will close early Sunday due to the cold temperatures and wind chill.

Giants Ridge Ski Area in Biwabik will close at 6 p.m. Sunday instead of the regularly scheduled closing time of 8 p.m.

The ski area will open Monday, January 21st at 10 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. as schedule.

Spirit Mountain in Duluth will close at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 21st. They have also cancelled Team Practice Night for Monday Night Adult Race League on the 21st.
