Marquette, Michigan (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The impact of Hurricane Sandy has reached all the way into Michigan, with heavy, wet snow blanketing the Upper Peninsula.
The Halloween morning commute was a bit tricky for many in the UP thanks to remnants of Sandy.
Snow fell in portions of Baraga, Marquette, Alger, Luce and Schoolcraft Counties.
Motorists were urged to use caution on the snowy, slushy roads. Rain fell in other regions where motorists are asked to be on alert for possible icy roads and changing conditions.
The Mackinac Bridge still has high wind warnings posted for drivers.
