I-35 Lane Closures Begin June 7th Near Esko

Esko, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Drivers can expect more delays on Interstate 35.

Starting June 7th, crews will begin construction on I-35 between Scanlon and the Larson Road. The ramp from Highway 45 to northbound I-35 will be closed until mid-October. The northbound I-35 entrance and exit ramps at Carlton County Road 1 in Esko will be closed until mid-August.

Crews are continuing work on a major pavement reconstruction project on this stretch of I-35.

The project will provide a smoother, safer driving surface for motorists.
