Hibbing, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - It might be the first dusting of snow that's here to stay.
It started to snow on the Iron Range Thursday morning and it didn't stop until well into the afternoon. That leaves the range with about one to four inches of standing snow.
People out and about didn't seem to mind however. After all, they said, this is Minnesota.
"First snowfall, everybody always freaks out, but for me it's just another day. I've lived in Minnesota my whole life," said Phil Bodle.
Parts of the Iron Range received a dusting of snow in late September, but it melted within 24 hours.
