Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- An Isabella man has been sentenced after he robbed The Lake Bank in Two Harbors on Christmas Eve 2011.

25 year old Robert Kenneth Moore will spend more than 112 months in prison for one count of bank robbery.

In Moore's plea agreement, he admitted that he stole approximately $6,669 from the bank.

According to the criminal complaint, at 9:45 a.m. December 24, 2011, Moore walked into the bank and laid a note on the counter stating that he had a gun and demanded the teller place money in a bag.

After receiving the bag of cash, Moore left the bank.

On Christmas morning, the Two Harbors police received a tip that Moore was at an apartment in Proctor.

Officers went to the apartment where they found Moore hiding in the bathroom, and the cash sealed with The Lake Bank strap.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Two Harbors Police Department.

Assisting in the investigation was the Proctor Police Department, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, and the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
