(Northland's NewsCenter) -- Today is a big day for the Jablonski family.
According to Jack Jablonski's CaringBridge website, after three and a half months in the hospital, Jack was released today.
The Benilde- St. Margaret's sophomore hockey player was left paralyzed after he was checked from behind into the boards during a junior varsity game.
The website said that Jack's mother was sad to leave the Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital because their sense of security is about to change.
She also added that there will be home care help and the family remains optimistic as Jack transitions to life at home.
