Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth and Superior Public Schools are getting a boost from Kwik Trip, which plans to open stores in the Twin Ports later this year.
The company announced Wednesday it will donate $10,000 to both school districts.
In Duluth, the $10,000 check will be used to help fund digital fabrication laboratories, also known as “fab labs.” These labs are being adopted by schools as platforms for project-based, hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education.
In Superior, the Kwik Trip $10,000 donation is being used for the National Bank of Commerce Spartan Sports Complex.
The check presentation will take place on Monday, February 10th.
Kwik Trip is the one of the largest convenience store chains in the upper Midwest.
