Virginia, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A group of neighborhood children in Virginia spent the last three days, street side, selling lemonade to help raise money for three families displaced by fire.
The group of five wrapped up business Friday and tell the Northland's NewsCenter they raised $2,100 through the grassroots effort.
One of the children's parents said they've had donations come in from as far away as Washington, and have had visitors drive all the way up from the cities.
The fire claimed several homes, garages and cars Monday night in the city's north-end.
The kids say they'll split the donations between the three families.
