Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Minnesota's Governor and Lieutenant Governor are expected to meet with Georgia Pacific Plant officials and employees tomorrow morning.
Their visit comes on the heels of this week's announcement the plant will close, leaving nearly 150 people without a job.
Spokespeople with the Atlanta-based manufacturing company say it was a tough decision, but one that was based on current market trends.
The last day for workers will be August 31st.
