(NNCNOW.com) --- Santa and his elves may have finished their work for the holiday season.

But one man in Hibbing is still working hard to bring joy to the faces of children all over the Iron Range.

Jim McRae is a man on a personal mission to make sure every kid has a bicycle to call their own.

Last June McRae gave away over 60 bikes, at no cost, to those in need on the Iron Range and this year he hopes to give away hundreds more.

When Jim and a friend came up with the idea to fix up old bikes and give them to those in need, he had no idea what kind of impact it would have.

"I'm not that emotional and there's a few times I almost had tears in my eyes,” McRae said. “The look on these kids faces was actually worth it."

Jim has already spent a great deal of time fixing bikes over the past few months to prepare for the upcoming summer bike giveaway.
