Duluth, MN (NNCNOW) - For almost a year now, the Northland's News Center has honored the region's hardest working volunteers with our weekly "Making A Difference" stories.
On Wednesday, ten of those people were toasted at a luncheon in their honor.
The program took place at Clyde Iron in Duluth.
Honorees included Doctor Arne Vinio of Cloquet who heals people's bodies, to Iron Range funeral home director Bill Bauman, who helps heal people's souls in their times of loss.
Nearly 50 people have had their stories of service told through "Making A Difference" stories and we're always looking for more.
"There isn't a shortage of people. There is sometimes a concern that people don't tell us about them and we don't always know. There are people out there doing great things that we don't know about and we would love to hear from the public," said Barbara Reyelts, news director, Northland's NewsCenter.
