Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- Every year the University of Wisconsin system recognizes one woman from each campus who has made an impact on her community.
This year, UW–Superior honored Nathalie Crowley for the work she has done advocating gender equality.
Crowley has graduated from the university but was recognized for her extensive work as the Diversity Director for the Student Senate, and Career and Allied Student Union, while she was a student.
Outside campus activities, Crowley, worked with others to create the Lake Superior Transgender Group in Duluth. Her efforts are making a big difference in the Northland community.
