A former International Falls man, accused of killing his wife in November of 2010, has pleaded guilty to an amended charge of 2nd Degree Murder.
51 year old, Carl Chester Muggli and his wife, Linda, owned a wood carving business together.
The criminal complaint says authorities responded to a call that a totem pole had fallen on the woman as she and her husband worked on the wood carving.
Linda subsequently died from injuries she sustained from the incident.
A Koochiching County judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation before his next court date, February 4th, where he is scheduled to be sentenced.
