Man Sentenced to 40 Years in LCO Stabbing Death

Hayward, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- One of two suspects, charged in the stabbing death of a man on the LCO reservation in Hayward will spend the next 40 years in prison.

20-year-old Caleb Miller was sentenced today on charges of 1st degree reckless homicide and aggravated battery with the intent to cause great bodily harm.

Miller and 22-year-old Marvin Corbin allegedly stabbed 23-year-old John B. McDaniel to death in April of 2011.

Witnesses saw Miller and Corbine enter the home of McDaniel and testified that a fight ensued shortly after. McDaniel died from blood loss due to stab wounds.

Corbine will be sentenced in May for his role in the crime.
