Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities have taken a suspect into custody after he allegedly slashed a man's throat in Duluth Monday night.
Authorities responded to the call of a stabbing along the 1800 Block of West Superior Street in Duluth around midnight.
An initial investigation revealed that a 29 year old man was slashed on the neck during an altercation with another man. The suspect allegedly fled the scene on a motorcycle.
Officers located the suspect at the intersection of 30th Avenue West and 1st Street. The suspect was transported to the St. Louis County Jail for 2nd Degree Assault.
The victim was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth with a non-life threatening injury.
Authorities say the victim and the suspect were both known to each other.
