Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- A 26 year old Minneapolis man has been sentenced after possessing and planning to sell cocaine and marijuana in Grand Rapids in May.
Jesse Pina Ontiveros will spend up to 7 years in prison for one count of felony Aiding and Abetting Controlled Substance Crime in the First Degree - Possession; one count of felony Conspiracy to Commit Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree - Possession; and one count of felony Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.
All three of Ontiveros' sentences are to run concurrent.
As part of his sentence, Ontiveros was also ordered to pay a total of $225 in fines and surcharges and provide a DNA sample.
Police say they found 45 grams of cocaine, about five pounds of marijuana, a digital scale, plastic baggies and other drug packaging materials in Ontiveros' apartment, his hotel room and at the Super Eight Hotel.
