DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak delivered the keynote speech Thursday at the annual Chamber Dinner in Duluth.
More than one thousand members of the Duluth area Chamber of Commerce and their guests gathered at the DECC.
The annual event offers members the opportunity to network and share ideas to improve their businesses and their community.
Mayor Rybak illustrated how Duluth and Minneapolis can share ideas to ensure both communities remain remarkable places to live and work.
"Both strong economies, but we don't have the dominant player that comes in and simply builds a whole lot of stuff, so what we really need are very powered public private partnerships that focus first on the common ground on the places we come together, and especially in the commercial setting, on the places that power business and move business forward," said Rybak.
Thursday's event was the 142nd meeting an annual dinner hosted by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce.
