Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minneapolis has been ranked one of the top ten cities across the nation to be the most recession–recovered, according to WalletHub.
The Great Recession, which officially ended five years ago, was the longest downturn since the Great Depression, WalletHub reports. They wanted to do a report showing that even though the recession may be declared over, many cities across the nation are still struggling because of it.
Minneapolis was ranked the seventh most recovered city, and Laredo, TX, was ranked as the first. The least recovered city, still struggling due to the recession, is San Bernardino, CA.
The largest 150 cities across the U.S. were compared for this report based on 18 essential metrics: from the inflow of college–educated workers, number of new businesses, unemployment rates, home price appreciation, etc...
