After returning from a five city fly around discussing his proposed budget, Governor Mark Dayton is the keynote speaker at the Minnesota Capitol.
Hundreds of Northland lobbyists met with lawmakers over the past two days outlining the region's priorities.
"Duluth and Saint Louis County Days" is now in its 14th year.
But the region is met with a new challenge this year, as the Republicans lead both the state's house and senate.
The Northland's lawmakers are primarily D-F-L and have gotten used to being the majority party.
