St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Minnesota Senate is expected to unveil its bonding proposal Monday morning at the Capitol.
It's the last piece of the puzzle this legislative session following pitches by both the House and Governor.
Governor Mark Dayton is asking for a one billion dollar bonding bill. The House wants a $975 million bill, which calls for $125 million cash from this year's surplus.
The money would fund projects like the Range Regional Airport and the restoration of the NorShor Theatre.
The Senate Capital Investments Committee meets at 8:30 in the morning.
