Motorcycle Safety Courses Offered April 27-28

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- With three rider deaths already this year, the MInnesota Department of Public Safety officials are reminding riders that training courses start this week across the state.

Preliminary reports from the three fatal crashes point to factors that proper training helps to prevent.

The training courses are for new and experienced riders and are coordinated through the DPS Motorcycle Safety CEnter.

Courses in Duluth will take place April 27-28 at Lake Superior College. Basic Rider Motorcycle Safety classes will be from 8 AM-1 PM and 2 PM to 7 pm.

The cost for the course is $160. If you wish to register and be part of the course, you can do so on Herewebsite on Lake Superior College's Website.

Ridership in Minnesota has hit a record high, with more than 237,000 registered motorcycles and 405,000 licensed opreators. Rider training is important and an affordable option for new and experienced riders tha builds critical crash-avoidance techniques.
