Musburger Appears in Hibbing Court for Pre-trial

CHISHOLM, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---The Iron Range man who allegedly went on a shooting spree at a Chisholm bar in 2010 killing one man and wounding two others appeared in court today for a pre-trial hearing.

A criminal complaint states 48-year-old Jason Musburger walked into the Jim Sports Bar and Grill in 2010 and opened fire.

Ed Walberg was shot to death, while Cale Nelson and Larry Elj were both wounded.

Musburger is charged with three counts of first degree per-mediated murder and one count of second degree murder.

He also faces charges of stalking and violation of a restraining order involving his ex-wife.

Musburger will go on trial March 19.
