Try telling that to two-year-old AJ, filled with an endless supply of energy.
He has been waiting for his dad to return home from Afghanistan for two whole months. His mom has too.
"It has been a rough road being a single parent of the two year old, I'm glad he's coming home," said Emily Wigg.
Wigg and AJ along with a number of other families waited anxiously for the troops at the the base Monday afternoon.
This recent deployment was the fourth overseas for the wing, but the first to Afghanistan, a part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The Bulldogs provided Close Air Support, protecting coalition ground forces, a mission that included intense training six months ahead of this summer's deployment.
