Neglect Charges Expected for Boy Left on Head Start Bus
Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Charges are expected Friday against a Fond du Lac Head Start bus driver for allegedly leaving a three-year-old boy on a bus in the freezing cold. According to Carlton County Attorney Thom Pertler, a criminal complaint has been filed for charges of child neglect or endangerment. The complaint has not yet been processed, and Pertler expects official charges to be filed tomorrow, pending a judge's signature. Three-year-old Ty Stiffarm was hospitalized last week after being left on a bus for three hours with temperatures near zero degrees.
