Duluth ,MN (NNCNOW.com)-- -Dozens of hopefuls lined up at Greysolon Ballroom today hoping to land a job at a new restaurant opening in town.

The job fair is to fill around 100 full and part time positions with Tavern on the Hill, opening at the end of the August.

The openings include management, servers, bartenders, and cooks.

The restaurant will be located on Woodland Avenue in the Bluestone Commons development and will seat around 500 people.

Restaurant officials expect around a thousand people to attend the job fair over the next few days and say this is what they are looking for in the perfect candidate.

"People that put the guests in front of themselves. Someone that really has a very relatable, warm, I don't know, personality. People that just enjoy serving and love to serve and that's our job we're in the service industry so we have to thrive and enjoy doing that part of it," said Julie Thoreson, Director of Operations for Blackwoods Group.

The job fair is open from noon until 7 through Thursday at Greysolon Ballroom.\
Thoreson says if more candidates stand out than they can find placement for, they may find them jobs at the 7 other Blackwoods Group locations in Duluth.
