One suspect charged and another on the loose in Superior home invasion

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) -- One susect has been arrested and another is on the loose as the Superior Police Department is investigating a home invasion that happened on July 22.

Around 4:30 p.m., the department responded to a home on the 1100 block of Hughitt Avenue.

Three people living in the home say that two black men knocked on the back door and when they opened it, the two suspects rushed into the house and began robbing the home.

The department says that during the robbery, two men living in the home were ordered to the floor and at least one of the suspects held a gun to a resident's head.

A female occupant of the home was forced into a bedroom by one of the suspects.

Personal items were taken from the victims including, a wallet, cell phones, various identification cards, and car keys.

The two suspects then left the home and attempted to get into one of the resident's vehicles.

The alarm of the vehicle went off, forcing the two suspects to flee on foot.

During the course of the investigation, Trent W. Anderson, a Superior resident was located and interviewed, in which he admitted to his involvement in the robbery.

Anderson has been charged with Party to a Crime Armed Robbery, PTAC Armed Burglary, and three counts of PTAC False Imprisonment.

The charges can result in a fine of $100,000 or a prison term of up to 40 years, or both.

The second suspect is still at large and is described as follows:
Light skinned black male, skinny, 5'6" to 5'8" in height with a possibly shaved head.

The suspect had tattoos on both arms as well as the neck and chest area.

The suspect is possibly armed wtih a handgun and is considered dangerous.
