DULUTH, MN--(Northland's NewsCenter)- The Duluth Fire Department issued a condition yellow flag along the Park Point Beaches effective immediately and continuing until further notice.
A Yellow Flag means a moderate risk of rip currents.
The Duluth Fire Department warns that only experienced swimmers should enter the water, especially because Life Guards are not always on duty. They also say swimmers should be aware that conditions could get worse throughout the day, so stay posted on up to date beach conditions.
Flags are located at 12th St. Beach, Lafayette Square, and Park Point Beach.
The Northland's NewsCenter will keep you updated if conditions deteriorate or improve.
