Police Bust Duluth Man Accused of Selling Meth, Search for Another

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth Police need your helping finding a known thief and drug dealer with an active felony warrant out for his arrest.

Police say they came close to 31-year-old Ryan Birk while conducting surveillance at a home in the 400 block of North 51st Avenue West last week.

They tried to stop Birk when he showed up at the home, but lost him following a pursuit.

The active warrant is out of Douglas County.

You're asked to call 911 if you know his whereabouts.

During the search of the home, police did arrest 34-year-old Eldred Petruk.

Petruk is charged with first degree sale of methamphetamine.

Inside the home, police found 16 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales and other evidence.
Petruk is charged with first degree sale of methamphetamine.

Petruk has also been convicted of burglary, assault and possession of a firearm by a felon.
