Police Nab 1 of 2 Virginia Credit Union Robbery Suspects

Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Police say they've nabbed one of the men who held up the Virginia Cooperative Credit Union with a gun this week.

The robbery happened Tuesday afternoon.

Police say one of the men flashed a gun and ordered everyone in the bank to the floor.

Another man went behind the counter and took cash.

Through the work of the Virginia Police along with the FBI, St. Louis County Sheriff and Eveleth Police, a 26-year-old man is behind bars in the St. Louis County jail awaiting charges of 1st degree aggravated robbery.

He's expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.

Police are still looking for the second suspect.
