Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A severed water main left a major mess to clean up in a popular downtown Duluth hotel, and forced guests to find other accommodations.
According to officials, a service line connecting the Radisson's water supply broke during planned construction Wednesday night.
The break flooded part of the hotel basement, along with the Skywalk tunnel beneath Superior Street. In some parts, water was as high as a foot.
Hotel guests were evacuated to surrounding hotels after the Radisson lost water pressure, and are still not allowed in the hotel at this time.
Crews are still on the scene, and hope to have traffic back to normal before the end of the night Thursday.
